Description
The vehicle salesperson is responsible for selling vehicles and meeting dealership gross profit, volume and customer satisfaction standards. This position includes four broad areas of activity: personal work habits, prospecting, selling and follow-up.
 
Requirements include:
  • Build and maintain excellent customer relationships focusing on delivering a "REMARKABLE" customer experience. 
  • Build and maintain customer base consistently and efficiently.
  • Daily knowledge of dealership inventory. 
  • Obtain referrals on a weekly basis. 
  • Effective follow up and follow through with your customers on a regular basis. 
  • Attend dealership training and development workshops.

BDC Representative

Primary Responsibilities:

The Sales BDC Representative is expected to:

  • Protect the legal, financial and moral well-being of the Larry H. Miller Companies dealerships;
  • Understand and adhere to service department processes to promote a positive experience and customer service satisfaction;
  • Be a teacher to support the efforts of other employees to be successful.
  • Seek ways to improve business operations efficiencies and customer service.

Job Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, preferred.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of current automotive products including but not limited to features, benefits, specifications, prices, options, models and equipment.
  • 1 year of experience in an auto sales facility, desirable.
  • Good organization skills.
  • Professional communication skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Maintain valid driver's license and MVR within company policy requirements.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work performed in a dealership setting due to necessity to be available to obtain customer relationships through face to face meeting.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions precedent at that time.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers and move about facilities.
  • Required vision include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Primary Duties:
  • Less than half total earnings consist of commissions. Less than 50% of time spent making sales or obtaining orders or contracts for sale of automobiles.

    1. Maximize appointment setting, customer service and profitability.

    • Ensure customers are greeted in a timely and welcoming fashion to initiate positive visits.
    • Achieve customer service satisfaction standards while facilitating outstanding customer service in person, via phone, and/ or via email communications.
    • Effectively communicate and verify customer satisfaction ensuring future business relationships
    • Facilitating inbound and outbound phone calls for scheduling and confirming customer appointments specific number required per day to be determined by management.
    • Effectively communicate with and perform all job duties requested by management.

Technician & Lube Tech

Primary Duties:
  • Ensure maximum productivity, customer service and cost control.
  • Perform all repairs utilizing appropriate tools, procedures and operations.
  • Disassemble and assess any supplemental needs, labor, parts, and communicate with Shop Foreman or Assistant Service Manager.
  • Perform quality repairs at all times and notify management of any substandard processes, parts or procedures.
  • Communicate with appropriate personnel regarding any issue which may cause a repair delay to a vehicle.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times and adhere to all OSHA/EPA requirements.
  • Operate with integrity.
  • Demand the highest ethical standards from self and others.

Job Qualifications:
  • Previous automotive technician experience REQUIRED
  • Must provide own tools
  • High school diploma or the equivalent recommended but not required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • ASE certification, local state safety inspection and emissions license preferred.
  • General mechanical skills.
  • Maintain valid driver's license and MVR within company policy requirements.

The Parts Wholesale is expected to:

Ensure maximum productivity, customer service and cost control. 
  • Effectively communicate with wholesale clientele and body shops regarding product and pricing. 
  • Accurately take part orders from clientele and discuss payment types. 
  • Ensure accuracy of service repair orders and invoices for proper completion and calculations. 
  • Display and merchandise seasonal parts and accessories to achieve maximum marketing exposure. 
  • Perform all job duties requested from management. 
  • Effectively communicate orders and part needs while ensuring proper delivery to clientele.

Job Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or the equivalent.

  • 1+ year in an automotive parts environment preferred. 
  • Prefer one-two year's sales experience. 
  • Basic computer skills necessary. Desirable: Larry H. Miller -Group's management systems knowledge. 
  • Must be personable, enthusiastic and have a sense of urgency. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Work performed in a shop setting due to location of parts and the necessity to work with parts department vendors in person or over the phone. 
  • Exposure to shop environment such as noise, dust, odors and fumes, chemicals and adhesives. 
  • Required to lift up to a minimum of 50 lbs. 
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, use hands and fingers, handle or operate objects, tools or controls. -Customer Service
